There is something deeply healing about summer tea.
Not rushed coffee in a travel mug.
Not another energy drink consumed while multitasking.
But tea intentionally steeped, poured over ice, shared on porches, carried into gardens, or sipped quietly while the evening light stretches long across the yard.
Summer herbs feel alive in a different way. Bright mint. Citrus. Sun warmed berries. Cooling flowers. Gentle nervines that remind the body it does not always have to brace itself against the world.
Today I wanted to share a few fresh herbal tea recipes for summer. Some are cooling. Some are uplifting. Some are deeply calming. All of them are simple enough to become part of the rhythm of ordinary life.

Quiet Summer Rituals
Sometimes wellness is not another supplement.
Sometimes it is:
- drinking something slowly
- sitting outside barefoot
- allowing silence to exist without filling it
- letting the nervous system unclench
- watching evening light move through the trees
Tea can become part of that rhythm.
Not just for hydration.
But for remembrance.
For returning to ourselves.
For remembering that healing often happens in slower places.
